Rainy day?  Here’s an idea—Experience the culture of the region with a museum tour that will take you all around Grand Traverse Bay.  The Traverse City region boasts five great museums.  Here they are from east to west:  The Music House Museum in Acme, The Dennos Museum at Northwestern Michigan College, The Grand Traverse Heritage Center  on Sixth Street in Traverse City, The Great Lakes Children’s Museum in Elmwood Township, and the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa & Chippewa Indians’ new Eyaawing Museum & Cultural Center in Peshawbestwown, just north of Suttons Bay.
